12 Bible - During the first semester the seniors will study about world religions and how we, as Christians, should relate to them. The seniors will each research a world religion and then do a presentation in class. Check with Edline for more information and class syllabus.
10 Bible - During the first semester the sophomores will study Old Testament backgrounds. They will study the Books of the Old Testament and learn why they are so important to the world today. The students will research the background of one of the Old Testament books and make a presentation for the class. Check with Edline for more information and class syllabus.
9 Bible - During the first semester the freshmen will be studying "the Importance of God's Word", "God's Gifts: Creation and Salvation", "God and the Human Family" and "Family Relationships". Check with Edline for more information and class syllabus.
Photography - The students in Photography/Videography Class will learn the composition of a good picture. They will become familiar with the terminology used today in digital photography and how to take "good pictures". They will also learn to use various software in the digital world and how to produce still digital and video programs.
Drama - Students in drama will learn the importance of public speaking, stage presence and delivering a message to the audience. By the end of the term they will be able to memorize a script and present their part in a convincing manner. However, drama at Mesa Grade Academy is more than just performing it is seen as a ministry. The name of the drama group is "Fresh Expressions" and their motto is "Communicating Christ through Drama".
